Lamar student signs with Southern Wesleyan

Lamar High School’s (LHS) Effie Copeland, who graduated June 11, will head to Southern Wesleyan University next year to join the school’s softball team. Copeland signed a national letter of intent recently, inking her commitment to play collegiately. LHS held a signing ceremony for Copeland in the school’s gymnasium.
