Lamar plans first Christmas on Main
The town of Lamar is hosting a new family-friendly Christmas event featuring pictures with Santa, story time with Mrs. Claus, Candy Cane Lane, Passion for Praise Dancers, food trucks, vendors, a parade and more. To ensure everyone’s safety, organizers request that all business owners, vendors and attendees observe COVID-19 protocols and wear their masks. Christmas on Main will be held Saturday, Dec. 5, from 2-5 p.m. A parade begins at dusk. Christmas on Main is a nonprofit event presented by the Lamar Christmas Committee. All proceeds will be used to purchase and maintain Lamar’s Christmas decorations.
