The Kalmia Garden Study Club celebrates National Garden Week, June 5-11, this year by placing arrangements in several downtown businesses in Darlington. Members designed each display and placed them on Friday, June 3.

Locations include Carolina Bank, Merle Norman, Raven’s Closet, Palmetto Breathing Solutions, Main Street Jewelers, Studio 36, Jewel’s Restaurant, Tenampa Mexican Restaurant, Ervin Law Firm, Carolina Drugstore, Milling Law Firm, Sweet Jane’s Café & Wine Bar, Edward Jones, and Golden Shears.

Garden Club President Ronda Brown said the club chose to focus on one area within walking distance to give residents and visitors a chance to explore downtown. In the past, the displays have been scattered at various offices throughout the city.

The arrangements will remain on display through June 11.
