Authorities have apprehended two men in the Florence area linked to a fatal Darlington shooting earlier this year. The U.S. Marshals Service Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force, in collaboration with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office, captured Travon Coe and Travine Coe (seen here) in connection with the January shooting on Meadowbrook Drive in Darlington. They are accused of the murder of 18-year-old Damon Jackson, Jr., with warrants alleging that they conspired to kill Jackson and shot him in the neck.
The suspects were arrested early Thursday at an apartment complex on Oakwood Lane, as confirmed by U.S. Marshals spokesperson John Hale. Travine Coe and Travon Coe are facing charges of murder, criminal conspiracy, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. As of 11 a.m. today, they are being held at the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center.
