Honor Society students visit nursing home, hospital

Last week was a busy one for Darlington High School National Honor Society students. They visited McLeod Children’s Hospital to deliver teddy bears for patients and to present funds raised in the amount of $275.00 to the McLeod Foundation for the Children’s Hospital. Students assisted by organizing and putting away new toys as well as visiting and played with patients. They have been invited to be a part of the Children’s Miracle Network Telethon next year.
NHS students also visited Medford Nursing Home and played bingo with residents. The residents received bingo prizes bought by NHS with funds raised by members.
