Homicide investigation update
Sheriff Tony Chavis has announced the arrest of a second Darlington man Investigators allege was involved in a shooting death on Flat Creek Rd. in Darlington.
According to Sheriff Chavis, patrol deputies were dispatched to a residence on Flat Creek Rd. at 11:30 p.m. on November 29, 2017. Patrol Deputies found one victim, identified by Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee as Larry Moody, 55, of Darlington.
Sheriff’s Investigators assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division arrested Quinton Jevon Gattison, 34, of Darlington. Quinton Gattison has been charged with murder. On December 28, 2017, Investigators arrested and charged Darquan Larchell Gattison, 26, of Darlington with murder.
