Hartsville teen arrested for armed burglary
According to reports from the Darlington County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to Broad Lawn Avenue in the Hartsville area of Darlington County on Friday, November 13th about a burglary. The homeowner of the residence told law enforcement that they confronted the individual who was trying to break into their residence. During the confrontation, gunfire was exchanged; no one was injured, and the individual fled on foot.
During a search of the area, DCSO deputies identified the suspect involved; Brandon Gudnason, age 17, of Pond Hollow Road in Hartsville was charged with Burglary 1st Degree, Possession of Weapon during Commission of a Violent Crime, Attempted Murder, and Shooting into a Dwelling and Larceny.
