Hartsville Chamber and Tingen & Associates to provide free healthcare consultations
The Greater Hartsville Chamber of Commerce and Tingen & Associates will host a free health care consultation workshop on September 10 in the chamber’s board room at 214 N. 5th Street from 10am to 4pm. Experts from Tingen & Associates will review businesses’ current health insurance coverage, discuss new government regulations, and advise attendees on policies that will fit their businesses.
The Affordable Care Act has changed health insurance requirements significantly for businesses both large and small. Some changes included additional fees depending on the type of coverage offered, and a new marketplace for affordable health insurance for small businesses. The agents at Tingen & Associates work with Affordable Care Act plans regularly, and are well-qualified to assist business owners and directors.
Appointments will include one-on-one counseling and are scheduled to last 1 hour each. Appointment spaces are limited, and must be reserved in advance. This program is provided free of charge to businesses that are chamber members. Business owners may call (843) 332-6401 to book an appointment.
