Gordon L. McCaskill
Gordon L. McCaskill, 83, passed away Feb. 1, 2021, at his home in Darlington. Gordon is survived by half-sisters Carolyn Thomas and Sue (Rick) Hodapp, half-brother Michael (Susie) McCaskill and several cousins, nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by brothers Oscar McCaskill Jr., Wesley McCaskill and sister Mary Holtzclaw. Gordon was born Dec. 31, 1937, in Lancaster, to the late Oscar Hudson McCaskill and the late Parnell Cooper McCaskill. Gordon was employed by the United States Postal Service. After retirement from the USPS, he worked as a court bailiff. Gordon enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an excellent cook. He loved to share his bounty with friends and family. Memorials may be given to the charity of choice. All services are private.
