Girls Scouts of Eastern SC to honor Tressa Gardner
Girl Scouts of Eastern SC is announcing Tressa Gardner as the Darlington area honoree for the 19th annual Mary Dean Brewer Women of Distinction. This is a fundraiser for the Girl Scouts of Eastern South Carolina on March 11, 2017, to celebrate the women living and working in eastern South Carolina who have demonstrated qualities of outstanding leadership, excellence in their personal and professional endeavors, and served as role models for young girls. This year, we are honoring five women, one of whom is Tressa Gardner.
Tressa Gardner is the Associate VP of the Southeastern Institute of Manufacturing and Technology (SIMT) at Florence-Darlington Technical College. Ms. Gardner connects business, industry, inventors and entrepreneurs with the advanced technological resources of the SiMT to increase innovation, expand capabilities, and improve efficiency and time to market.
