What happens when twenty-two girls from five Girl Scout troops bring their fiery energy and creativity together under one roof? On Saturday, March 28, 2026, the answer was on full display as Girl Scouts from Troops 119, 207, 423, 635, and 1644 lit up the runway at the LakeView Country Club in Hartsville.

Hosted at 12:00 p.m., the fashion show welcomed family members, friends, staff and board members of the Girl Scouts of Eastern South Carolina, and members of the community to witness an afternoon filled with style, talent, and inspiration.

Leading up to the event, the girls dedicated time to workshops and practice sessions designed to build both skill and confidence. Participants learned how to walk the runway with poise, created handmade jewelry, and designed mood boards centered on creativity and self-expression. Their efforts also contributed toward earning multiple badges and patches, reinforcing the organization’s mission of leadership development.

The fashion show’s theme, “Forces of Nature — Earth, Wind, Fire, Water, and Girl Scouts,” came alive as each participant modeled outfits reflecting the elements. From earthy tones symbolizing strength and stability to bold, fiery designs representing passion and energy, the girls embraced the theme with originality and enthusiasm.

Each walk down the runway told a story. The strength of the earth, the movement of the wind, the flow of water, and the spark of fire were all represented through vibrant designs and confident strides. More than just a fashion show, the event became a celebration of leadership, imagination, and individuality—qualities that Girl Scouts strives to nurture in every member.

In addition to modeling, several participants showcased their talents through dance, song, and poetry, adding another layer of entertainment and creativity to the afternoon’s program. Their performances were met with applause and admiration from an engaged and supportive audience.

By the event’s conclusion, it was clear the experience had left a lasting impression. Even after the formal program ended, some of the girls could be seen continuing to walk the runway, radiating confidence with bright smiles and graceful presence.

Leaders expressed excitement about the success of the event and are already looking ahead to future opportunities to bring girls together in creative and empowering ways.

For those in attendance, the “Forces of Nature” fashion show was more than just an event—it was a powerful reminder of the confidence, courage, and character being cultivated in the next generation of leaders.
