Girl Scouts earn hundreds of badges

Pisgah United Methodist Church in Florence hosted an event on Saturday, September 19 for over thirty older girl and adult volunteers including multiple members of the Kappa Delta sorority at Francis Marion University worked with nearly one hundred girls to complete activities that would allow them to earn petals and badges for girls in grades 5K-5th grade. Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador Girl Scouts in grades 6-12 utilized their Program Aide Skills to help adult volunteers ensure everything ran smoothly.organized, inventing, and geo caching. Juniors started their badge adventure through learning skills that would help them become more independent. In all, nearly 300 badges and petals were earned.
