Fugitive Task Force Captures Wanted Man
Henry Timmons Thomas, III, age 46, of Darlington was captured at a residence on E. Home
Ave. in the Hartsville area of Darlington County Thursday April 27. Thomas has been charged with burglary, second
degree, which is a felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than fifteen years and petit larceny, which is a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment for not more than 30 days.
Thomas was captured by Darlington County Sheriff’s Deputies with the assistance of the US Marshal’s Task Force, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, and the Florence County Sheriff’s Office. Thomas was on the run for three weeks.
Darlington County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division Investigators allege that in March Thomas entered a business in the Darlington area of Darlington County without permission and took a quantity of business checks. Thomas is currently being held at the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center awaiting arraignment. According to Investigators, additional charges are pending.
