First Baptist Basketball Camp
The annual First Baptist Basketball Camps were held the week of July 6 – 10, teaching youngsters basketball fundamentals to help them be better basketball players- with the positive message that their spiritual fitness is just as important as their physical fitness.
The 7 – 10 year old camp was held at the Darlington Recreation Department, and the 11 – 14 year old camp was held at the Darlington High School Gymnasium.
In addition to members of First Baptist Church, coaches and volunteers assisted from Darlington High School athletic department, including Varsity Basketball Coach Ken Howle, and student athletes from Darlington High School among others.
