Faye Cook Howle

DARLINGTON – Faye Cook Howle, 83, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2020. A graveside service was held Saturday, April 18, at Darlington Memory Gardens, directed by Belk Funeral Home.
Born June 2, 1936, Faye was the daughter of the late Roy Lee Cook and Corine Dean Cook. She enjoyed baking for missions, and she loved her family and her church.
Faye was a member of Church of God of Prophecy in Darlington for 74 years, where she served as choir director, Sunday school teacher and superintendent, missions director, and headed the breakfast served to race fans for many years. Faye also had a nursing home service each week for over 30 years.
Surviving are her daughters, Susan Andrews and Nina (Michael) Stone, all of Florence; grandchildren, Aaron (Alicia) Stone, Haley Andrews (Robbie Hayes), Ethan (Korina) Stone; great-grandchildren, Micah Stone and Khloe Hayes; siblings, Eugene (Minerva) Cook, Janice Campbell, Bert (Kay) Cook; sister-in-law, JoAnn Cook, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years and love of her life, Ellis M. Howle; brothers, Oscar, Luther, Donald and Thayer (Skeet) Cook.
