Eleven DCSD student-athletes sign letters of intent
Eleven student-athletes from Darlington County School District recently signed letters of intent to play collegiate sports next year. The students represent Lamar, Darlington and Hartsville.
Rashard Coleman from Lamar High School will play baseball for Florence-Darlington Technical College.
Six students from Hartsville High School signed letters of intent:
• Kyron Gray will play basketball for East Georgia State College.
• Myesha Huggins will play basketball for Morris College.
• Zach Dixon will wrestle and cheer for Coker College.
• Ethan Welsh will also wrestle and cheer for Coker College.
• Bailee Nelson will golf for Spartanburg Methodist College.
• Tatum Warr will golf for Lander University.
Four students from Darlington High School inked commitments:
• Kadasia Damon will play softball for Claflin University.
• Hope Richardson will play basketball for Coker College.
• Grainger Howle will golf for Francis Marion University.
• Madison Grant will compete in tumbling and acrobatics for Limestone College.
All of the students and their families held signing ceremonies at their respective schools.
