Economic Development Board meets

The Darlington County Economic Development Partnership met on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, in the Library Board Meeting Room of the Coker University Library, 300 East College Ave., Hartsville. A large portion of the meeting centered on engaging the local student population and allowing them more career opportunities within the community. The board discussed utilitizing student skills in the area, working with schools, parents and teachers, developing better communication with the student talent pool, and formulating strategic proposals for implementation of functioning plans.
