Duck box donation by Duke Energy Foundation
The Duke Energy Foundation continued its long-running partnership with the South Carolina Waterfowl Association by presenting the organization with a check for $5,000. The money will go towards the maintenance and construction of wood duck boxes at Lake Robinson and Prestwood Lake. Wood ducks use the boxes to nest and lay their eggs during the spring. This is the 25th year Duke Energy has supported the effort and we are committed to continuing to promote natural habitats in the communities we service.
