Driver dies in I-20 crash in Darlington County
A woman was killed early Feb. 25 when two vehicles collided on I-20 East in Darlington County, the S.C. Highway Patrol reports. The patrol said the 1 a.m. crash involved a Jeep and a Pontiac Vibe. The patrol said the Jeep hit the rear of the other vehicle, both vehicles went off the road, and the Pontiac hit a tree. The Pontiac’s driver died at the scene, the patrol said. She was identified by Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee as Debra McFatter, 59.
