Dream Flights returns for third year to Darlington

Ageless Aviation Dream Foundation (Dream Flights) will be returning to Branhams Airport in Darlington on September 1 and 2. This is the third year that they have decided to return as part of the Darlington Raceway Bojangles’ Southern 500 Race Weekend events. The Dream Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring seniors and United States Military Veterans. Their mission is to give back to those who have given. The flight is in a fully restored 1940 World War II Boeing Stearman Open Cockpit Biplane. This plane was used to train military aviators prior to the war. The public is welcome to come out to Branhams Airport, 757 Branhams Airport Road in Darlington, to see the Stearman up close and take pictures. Flight times will be 8 to 10 a.m. and again from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday. Saturday flight times will be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. American Legion Post #13 of Darlington is the proud organizer of this event. For more information, contact Mike Beckham at 843-319-2764 or 843-393-1409.
