DPD Santa Coloring Contest

The Darlington Police Department played host last week to Morgan Harrison’s 5K kindergarten class from St. John’s Elementary School. Chief Danny Watson (pictured) says that after the students toured the department, explored police patrol cars, received some important safety tips, and enjoyed a few candy canes, they took part in a coloring contest to see which kid could render the best depiction of jolly old St. Nick. Chief Watson and members of the DPD voted to determine the top three artists, with first place going to Reid McGuire, second place to Makayla Delaine, and third place to London Frazier. Each winning artist took home a giant chocolate bar, and all the kids received wishes for a Merry Christmas and safe holiday season from their friends at the Darlington Police Department.
