Dixie Cup employee photo
Reader Frank Helms brought us an old picture of employees from Dixie Cup, including his mother Doris Helms. Frank said that the picture is from some time in the 1960’s. We had several readers call us about the picture. A few of them said they had an aunt, mother or another relative in the photo. Two were even in it themselves! Thank you to everyone who called to share with us.
One reader said that she believed this to be a one-time thing. Workers on each shift gathered to take a group photo and, after they were printed, the photos were hung in the conference room at Dixie Cup. Each employee received a copy of their shift’s photo.
