Deputies arrest Hartsville burglary suspect
On April 6 during the night hours, Darlington County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies were dispatched to a home on Beaverdam Road in Hartsville in reference to a burglary in progress. Patrol deputies met with a victim who said they saw an unknown person come out of the home and flee when they arrived home. Patrol Deputies searched the area and located the suspect, Barbie Alisha Hatchell-McIntyne, age 33, of Hartsville, along with stolen items. The stolen items were returned to the victim.
Hatchell-McIntyne is charged with burglary, first degree, a felony, which is punishable, upon conviction, by up to life imprisonment. Hatchell-McIntyne is currently being held at the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center awaiting arraignment.
