DCSO investigates shootings in Darlington

Deputies are investigating after two people were shot inside a vehicle in the Centerville area of Darlington County on Thursday, January 30, 2025.

According to the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office, deputies initially responded to a call about a man who had been shot at an unknown location. Upon arriving at Black Creek Road, they received a second call reporting that a female had also been shot.

Through further investigation, authorities determined that both incidents were related and took place inside a vehicle. Officials confirmed that this was an isolated incident.

Both victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment, though no details on their conditions have been released at this time.
