Darlington County Habitat for Humanity hosts home dedication ceremony
On March 26, Darlington County Habitat for Humanity will host a dedication ceremony for two completed houses. The public is invited to attend the ceremony from 3 to 3:30 p.m. at the Butler Heritage Foundation, 1103 S. 6th St. Hartsville. The ceremony is for Carolyn and Joe as well as Monisha Timmons.
Started in 1996, Darlington County Habitat for Humanity is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seeks to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities and hope.
Habitat for Humanity was founded on the conviction that everyone should have a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety.
At the beginning of March, Habitat got the building permit for the 47th Habitat home.
