Darlington Chamber to host Biggest Tailgate
Join the Greater Darlington Chamber of Commerce for Darlington’s Biggest Tailgate on Thursday, September 28, on Darlington Square from 6-8:30 PM. Enjoy live music from Johnny Glenn and the Chasers, local food vendors, and beverage vendors. This event will also serve as a canned food drive for The Lord Cares. You don’t want to miss this community event; it will surely showcase our Darlington pride.
To add to the fun, the canned food drive will be a competition between your favorite teams. Bring your cans, and place them in your favorite team’s donation bin. The team with the most cans at the end of the night will celebrate with their fight song and rally cheer. Not to mention, all of the bragging rights that come along with winning.
This is the Thursday before Darlington High School’s Homecoming game, and we really want to show them our Falcon pride. We hope to have the athletes, band, cheerleaders, students, and staff from DHS in attendance so that we can cheer them on.
This tailgate is all about community, and the best part is it’s totally FREE. Come out to the Square with your tailgate chair, your favorite team attire, and lots of canned food. Coolers are not allowed but there will be food and drinks available for purchase. Help us cheer on the Falcons and collect donations for a local charity. For more information, call 843-393-2641.
