CPRMC accepting applications for 2023 Care Apprentice Program
Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center is once again offering the Carolina Pines Care Apprentice Program to students in Hartsville and surrounding communities. This program helps establish the necessary foundation and support to assist students both practically and scholastically by providing exposure to a wide variety of potential career choices in the healthcare field. By participating in the Care Apprentice Program, students may find their career interests confirmed or directed towards a certain area in healthcare.
To be eligible, students must be a rising high school senior, rising college freshman or sophomore.
“This program is very beneficial to students who may be unsure if a career in healthcare is right for them,” says Tanya Baker, Director of Professional Development at Carolina Pines. “The Care Apprentice program allows students to truly experience the healthcare field before making a career choice. Students that have completed the program leave our facility confident in knowing that healthcare is the career path they wish to pursue after experiencing the true day in and day out duties of a healthcare professional.”
Applications may be obtained from our website, www.cprmc.com/CareApprenticeProgram or from the Emergency Department entrance of the hospital.
Completed applications are due May 5th and can be dropped off in the Carolina Pines Gift Shop, located on the first floor of the hospital, or mailed to:
