On Saturday, March 25, 2023, RiseAero LLC held their 2nd Annual “Wings over Hartsville” Air Competition. There was a Spot Landing contest, Flour Drop Contest, Corn Hole games and Food Vendors for the crowd. There was also an RC Aircraft Demo by Gooney Birds R/C. RiseAero’s head, Mark DeFields coordinated and managed the event, with 16 pilots showing their skill and competing against each other. There were over 175 in attendance with 15 aircrafts from all across the Pee Dee. Flour Bomb Competition Winners were: 1st place- Jason Shideler, 2nd place- Caleb Pozsik, 3rd place- Sean Anderson.
