Columbia Children’s Theatre presents “Miss Nelson is Missing” at Center Theater
On Sunday, March 12 beginning at 3 p.m., Hartsville families can experience the childhood classic, “Miss Nelson is Missing”, brought to life by the Columbia Children’s Theatre at the Center Theater located at 212 N. Fifth St.
Originally presented by the Columbia Children’s Theatre as part of its 2006 – 2007 season, this delightful story is back with some new faces. The kids of room 207 are quite a handful for cheery Miss Nelson. However, when Miss Nelson disappears, her replacement is the strict, homework-overloading substitute teacher Viola Swamp. Audience members will be on the edge of their seats as they help the kids of room 207 find their beloved Miss Nelson.
Tickets are on sale starting at $8 for ages 12 and older and $6 for ages 3 to 11. Children under the age of 2 will gain free admittance. Tickets can be purchased online through Vendini at http://bit.ly/2lTo0ID or in person at the historic Center Theater or at The Key, Hartsville’s Visitors Center, located at 106 E. Carolina Ave. Elementary school students identified through the TEACH Foundation’s PULSE program will receive free tickets thanks to funding from the Duke Energy Foundation.
