Coker limits tickets at sports events

In accordance with local, state and federal health guidelines, the Coker University Athletics Department announced that beginning Thursday, Feb. 25, a limited number of Coker parents and/or legal guardians will be permitted to request a game ticket. No more than two tickets per student-athlete will be permitted. Tickets will be limited to 40 attendees at baseball, lacrosse, field hockey and soccer. Softball will allow a maximum of 30 parents or legal guardians to attend and tennis will have a capacity of 16. Effective immediately, no tailgating of any kind will be permitted at Coker Athletic Facilities to include parking lots. Coker continues to require facemasks at all times while on campus as well as observing social distancing. Visiting fans will not be permitted to attend any home Coker athletics contests. Fans will be able to live stream over a hundred home athletic events on the Cobra Sports Network, a free service available on Coker’s official website. Live stats for each contest will also be available. Indoor athletic facilities will continue to be closed to spectators. Coker University will continue to regularly monitor state, local, federal, SAC and NCAA guidelines. Off-campus athletic events, including road games against South Atlantic Conference opponents and non-conference foes, will be at the discretion of the host institution and will vary depending on location and governmental guidelines. Fans are encouraged to check with host entities for any attendance restrictions. For the most up-to-date schedules and information, visit www.cokercobras.com.
