Bill Cline, Clemson University class of 1977, holds a photo of his father, U.S. Army Cpt. William Cline, a 1941 Clemson College graduate, in Clemson’s Special Collections and Archives office. Cpt. Cline was company commander of the 758th Light Tank Battalion, the only black tank battalion in WWII.
