City honors JROTC members

During Dec. 7’s monthly Darlington City Council meeting, the city honored members of the JROTC from Darlington County Intervention School who took part in Nov. 13’s Grab A Bag SC cleanup effort. They were recognized for collecting more trash than other volunteer groups and won $100. The cleanup effort involved a total of 40 volunteers, who collected 60 bags of trash totaling 383 pounds.
