Gospel Singing & Chicken Bog at The Smith Hall
Enjoy fantastic gospel singing and delicious chicken bog at The Smith Hall (The Old Gloryland Building) on 1547 Lakeview Blvd in Hartsville on Saturday, September 12! Chicken bog plate sale will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., $7 a plate. Beginning at 6 p.m., enjoy the sounds of The Oxendines, Heart’s Song, The Sims Family, and the O’Neals. Directions: go up Lakeview Blvd to where Old Camden Rd. crosses Stop Light Grocery on left; singing will be in building behind store, the Old Gloryland Church Building. God’s Garden
God’s Garden is ready to plant for the winter season. The garden is located on Smith Avenue in Darlington. Everyone is invited to join in the fun of planting and watching your plants grow and produce edible foods.
There is no charge for planting in the garden. The gardeners furnish his/her seeds and fertilizer. We do have access to water for the garden, and a tiller for the plowing. If you are interested in being part of God’s Garden, call 393-3540 and leave a message. Your call will be returned. We would like to get young people involved.
