The cooked meat will be hand cut and mixed with 100 gallons of locally prepared mustard based BBQ sauce. The BBQ is served from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The annual BBQ is as much a social event as it is a fund raising event. Preparations begin a week in advance with individuals from near and far volunteering their time to make the event a success. The United Methodist Women’s Annual Bazaar is held concurrently with all proceeds going to missions. The cost for a BBQ plate is $8.00.
