Women of G.R.A.C.E.
Central Baptist Church, 512 Spring St. in Darlington, will host the Women of G.R.A.C.E. Extravaganza Weekend May 5 and 6. The guest speaker will be Pat Owens of Faith Step Ministries. Tickets are required for Saturday’s lunch and must be purchased by May 3. For more information, call 843-393-8581.
Homecoming
Bible Truth Holiness Church, 5360 Indian Branch Road, in Lydia, SC will have their annual Homecoming on May 7. Sunday School starts at 10 a.m. and preaching begins at 11 a.m. with Bro. Stacy Floyd. Dinner will start around 12:45 p.m. and at 1:45 p.m. there will be a singing with Forever Redeemed from St. Stephens, SC, and local singers. Come and help celebrate 64 years of ministry. 150th Anniversary Celebration
First Presbyterian Church of Hartsville will hold their 150th Anniversary Celebration Saturday, May 6 and Sunday, May 7. A celebration concert presented by several choirs will be at 5 p.m. in the church sanctuary Saturday evening. Sunday will include morning fellowship at 9:45 a.m. followed by a special worship service at 11:00 a.m. The church is located at 213 West Home Avenue in Hartsville.
Women’s Day Service
Cherry Grove Missionary Baptist Church on 552 E. Billy Farrow Hwy in Darlington is having its Annual Women’s Day Service Sunday, May 7. The guest speaker will be Mrs. Nicki Wright Spears of Olive Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Fulfillment Hour begins at 9:00 a.m. and worship service begins at 10:00 a.m.
Choir Anniversary
Lawson Grove Baptist Church Sanctuary Choir will be celebrating their first choir anniversary on Sunday, May 7, at 4 p.m. The speaker for this occasion will be Lawson Grove’s very own Pastor Anthony Hooks. Please continue to assist The Lord Cares in caring for those in need in the Darlington area. T.L.C.’s food bank is located at 201 Grove Street in Darlington. They are open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Donations of non-perishable food items (especially canned meats) are needed, as are toiletries, bathroom tissue, and paper towels.
