Blooming Spirits Program
Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Young Adults are having a program, “Blooming Spirits,” a presentation of colors and ages. The program is Sunday, May 21 at 4 p.m. Join them as they celebrate the wonderful colors. The church is located at 1421 East Lydia Hwy. in Hartsville.
Annual One Day Session
The Woman’s Pee Dee District Department of the Pee Dee Baptist Association will have its Annual One Day Session on May 21 at 4 p.m. at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church at 400 South Main Street in Darlington, SC. Reverend Dr. Cecil Bromell is the pastor. The speaker will be Reverend Bennie King, Jr. of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church of Florence, SC.
One Day Women’s Conference
The Women’s Ministry of New Beginnings Church will be having a One Day Women’s Conference June 10 beginning at 10 a.m. Women are invited to come and see what God has in store for them. Admission is free and lunch will be served. Guest speakers will be Pastor Debra Taylor and Sister Joyell Hicks from Marion, VA. The Lord Cares
Please continue to assist The Lord Cares in caring for those in need in the Darlington area. T.L.C.’s food bank is located at 201 Grove Street in Darlington. They are open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Donations of non-perishable food items (especially canned meats) are needed, as are toiletries, bathroom tissue, and paper towels.
