Trail Life/Central Baptist Church – Blood Drive

The American Red Cross continues to have an emergency need for donors of all blood types to give now. With less than a five-day blood supply on hand, your blood drive is critical to meet patient needs. Palmetto Baptist Church celebrates 120th Anniversary/Homecoming
The Palmetto Missionary Baptist Church Family and Friends will celebrate the Church’s 120th Anniversary/Homecoming on Sunday, August 28th beginning at 10 a.m., running through the afternoon with enjoyment of all activities. Speaker for the occasion will be former member Minister Ann Henicks-Thomas, a graduate of W. Florence High School who presently lives in Fayetteville, N.C.
Everyone is invited to attend. Church is located: 1104 Piano Rd., Florence.

Annual Revival Palmetto Baptist Church
The Palmetto Baptist Church Family will observe their Annual Revival Services Monday, August 29th through Wednesday, August 31st at 7 p.m. nightly. Young People Town Hall Meeting
Jeffery Dowling Ministries presents Young People Town Hall Meeting on September 24, 2:00 p.m.—4:00 p.m. at the Pee Dee United Elks Lodge 832 Timmonsville Hwy., Darlington.
This Town Hall Meeting is for ages 10-18 years old, and is designed with the purpose of mentoring our young males. The meeting allows the young people to allow mentors to be able to talk find out what issues they are dealing with, and really give them a chance to vent.
Parents, it is crucial to allow your kids to come out and be a part of changing our community one child at a time. We have to be the ones to make the effort and get to the bottom of what our young men are dealing with. DJJ, Prison, and SCDC is not the solution.

Pork Bog Fund Raiser
A fundraiser for the Shoe Box Ministry of Black Creek Baptist Church on September 30 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., cooked by Billy Mahn. Church located at 137 Mont Clare Rd., Darlington. The Lord Cares
Please continue to assist The Lord Cares in caring for those in need in the Darlington area. T.L.C.’s food bank is located at 201 Grove Street in Darlington. They are open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. Donations of non-perishable food items (especially canned meats) are needed, as are toiletries, bathroom tissue, and paper towels.
