Annual Revival Services at Sandy Bluff UMC
The Annual Revival Services for Sandy Bluff United Methodist Church of Bishopville will be held from Wednesday August 12 – Friday August 14th at 7:00 p.m. nightly. The Reverend Darren J. McClam, Pastor of Shiloh United Methodist Church of Darlington will be the guest preacher for the week. The public is invited. Sandy Bluff UMC is located at 415 Woodham Rd., Bishopville.

Sandy Bluff UMC 146th Church Anniversary
Sandy Bluff United Methodist Church of Bishopville will celebrate its 146th Church Anniversary on the third Sunday, August 16, during out 11:00 a.m. Worship Services. Our new Pastor, the Reverend James E. Moore, will be our speaker. The public is invited to join us in this celebration. Sandy Bluff UMC is located at 415 Woodham Rd., Bishopville.
100 Men and Women in Black and White
The Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church Family along with their Pastor Support Committee would like to invite you to our 100 Men and Women in Black and White program on August 23rd at 4 o’clock in the afternoon.
The guest speaker for this glorious occasion will be the Rev. Shawn Johnson, Pastor of the New Providence Missionary Baptist Church.

God’s Garden
God’s Garden is ready to plant. The garden is located on Smith Avenue in Darlington. Everyone is invited to join in the fun of planting and watching your plants grow and produce edible foods.
There is no charge for planting in the garden. The on who plants furnishes his/her seeds and fertilizer. We do have access to water for the garden, and a tiller for the plowing. If you are interested in being part of God’s Garden, call 393-3540 and leave a message. Your call will be returned. We would like to get young people involved.

Revival at Cherry Grove Missionary Baptist Church
The Annual Revival Services for Cherry Grove Missionary Baptist Church on 552 E. Billy Farrow Highway in Darlington is August 16-20, (Monday – Thursday), at 7:00 p.m. nightly. Sunday, August 16th, we will begin with a Prayer/Sing-spiration Service at 6:00 p.m. Revivalists are as follows: Monday: Rev. Rev. Morris Waymer of St. James UM Church; Tuesday: Rev. Frank Toney of New Zion Baptist Church; Wednesday, Dr. Gloria Robinson of Lee Street Church of God; Thursday, Rev. Stanley Jones of Salem Baptist Church. Dr. E. B. Burroughs is pastor.

Holy Eucharist Rite at St. Catherine’s Episcopal Church
On Sunday, August 16 at 10 a.m., St. Catherine’s Episcopal Church will have the service of Holy Eucharist Rite II. Our guest celebrant and preacher will be The Rt. Rev. John Buchanan, retired Bishop of West Missouri. Bishop Buchanan was ordained in South Carolina and for a time served as rector in Darlington and Mt. Pleasant. Please join us and as we welcome Bishop Buchanan and his wife Peggy.
The Rev. Jeffrey R. Richardson, Vicar of St. Catherine’s Episcopal Church will be the celebrant and preacher for Holy Eucharist Rite II meeting at Back Swamp School 10 a.m. on Sunday, August 23. All are welcome.
