Summer basketball league forming
The Darlington Area Recreation Department is forming a summer basketball league for boys and girls ages 7-16. The deadline is June 13. The cost is $25. Kids must bring their birth certificate. For more, call the Recreation Department at 843-398-4030.

The Coker College Acrobatics and Tumbling team has added the first recruit in the history of the program as Kaylyn Chilton signed to compete for the Cobras. Darlington High School student-athlete Cameron Hare will play women’s basketball for Converse College next year after a signing ceremony held last Thursday afternoon.
