Coker University men’s basketball has added seven signees for 2019-20, first-year head coach Jarred Merrill announced last week. Royce Hunter, Jaylin Stewart, K.J. Hartsville High School hires new athletics director
Hartsville High School introduced Barry Harley as its new athletics director last Thursday during a press conference at the school. Harley has served as a teacher and a coach in South Carolina public schools for nearly 40 years. He previously taught and coached football at St. John’s High School in Darlington from 1988-95. INDIANAPOLIS — The quick-rising collegiate sport of acrobatics and tumbling has received backing from the National Collegiate Athletic Association’s (NCAA) Committee on Women’s Athletics to join the organization’s list of emerging sports. AUGUSTA, Ga. — The Peach Belt Conference announced that 1,517 student-athletes have been named to the 28th-annual Presidential Honor Roll.
