City of Darlington announces Southern 500 mural to be repaired in early September
The City of Darlington sent out the following press release regarding the Southern 500 mural visible from Pearl Street in Darlington: Parts of the mural have faded in short order since the mural was completed in late spring 2014, and the City has negotiated with the artist to repaint those faded portions.
Church of the Week: St. Philip’s Bradford Springs
The initial draw to this area was the availability of the many cool, fresh water springs found here. One of the strongest springs was found on a 1,358-acre tract of land owned by Nathaniel Bradford, hence the name Bradford Springs.
