Wells Park receives TLC from TBC

October Teacher Feature winners chosen
The Darlington County School District’s Teacher Forum “Teacher Feature” winners for October have been announced. The program recognizes one teacher from each school to honor excellence in education.
S.C. Independent School Student Association Fall Conference
Elected student leaders from members of the South Carolina Independent Schools Student Association recently held their Fall Conference in the House of Representatives Chambers at the State House in Columbia.
The students attend schools in South Carolina and Georgia, including Trinity-Byrnes Collegiate School, Darlington.
While in session at the State House, the students held their general meeting, which included discussions on the Student Exchange program, the Student Council of the Year, the Honor Society of the Year and the 2016 Spring Convention.
Skymonk to cap off fall Downtown Block Party series Oct. 8
The last of the Fall 2015 Downtown Block Party dates will arrive this Thursday, Oct. 8, when Columbia’s blues rock band Skymonk will play on the streets of downtown Hartsville.
