Trinity United Methodist Women gave some very welcome help to three hardworking local ministries last week, presenting each organization with a check for $1,000 to help with their programs. Trinity Women raised funds for these donations through a very successful chicken bog dinner where 600 tickets were sold.

Annual Silver Fox Tournament of Champions Reception
The Annual Silver Fox Tournament of Champions Reception was held Thursday evening, April 28 at the Governor’s Run Golf Course in Lamar. The two honorees selected by the Lamar Civitans this year were former Lamar teachers Dorothy “Dot” Plummer and Dot White.
