Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center Director of Infection Control achieves certification
Tanya Baker, RN, CIC, who serves as Director of Infection Control/Employee Health for Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center, has completed the rigorous processes to be certified in Infection Control. Issued by the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, successful certification represents the commitment of an infection preventionist and an institution to the continued improvement of infection prevention and control functions and their contribution to healthcare and patient safety.
It is intended for individuals who are actively accountable for the infection prevention and control program within their current position. The Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology’s mission is to protect the public and does so by promoting professional certification of the highest quality.
