Blessing Bags outreach comes to Hartsville
The Hartsville Community Organization Partner Provides Much Needed Boost to Area Residents in Need.
“We are excited to announce that in partnership with the Hartsville Church of God, we are supporting their efforts to provide Blessing Bags to area outreaches. Area businesses, Frets and Necks, Crema Coffee, Burry Bookstore, Sacred Space Yoga, Brown & Coker Realty and Seersucker Gypsy are leading the way with generosity, love and kindness to collect hygiene kit items for the neediest among us,” said Diane DeLucia, President of the Hartsville Community Organization.
Founded in 2015, the purpose of the Hartsville Community Organization is to serve the traditionally underserved individuals and programs in Hartsville and Darlington County. The goal is to provide activities and events that enable participants to grow in knowledge and education in order that our community may be a welcoming and diverse community for all peoples.
“As part of our commitment to Hartsville, we are working with the Blessing Bags program partner, the Hartsville Church of God, who through their passion for the poor and underprivileged, create a community culture, that spurs those of us in the area to more ably provide financial as well as socially and spiritually responsible outreach in Hartsville,” DeLucia said.
Several collection points have been set up to drop off items for the Blessing Bags. Donations are 100 percent tax deductible. Stop by the Hartsville Church of God with your donation or visit one of the other collection sites.
