Anchor Club Convention held
Members of the Darlington Anchor Club joined fellow Anchors from across South Carolina for their annual state convention Feb. 22. Host club for the event was the Anchor Club of Dillon Christian School. The meeting took place at the Dillon Wellness Center. Accompanying the Anchors from Darlington were DonaJo Brown, faculty advisor, Mary Scott, Pilot youth coordinator, and three additional Pilot members, Angie Dority, Melissa Schwier and Missy McKnight. Anchors participated in a community service project — donating and packaging stuffed animals and writing cards for children in local hospitals. Jayla Back, Darlington Anchor Club Junior, was elected secretary/treasurer for the South Carolina District for 2020-21.
