Meet the Cobras Day

The Coker College Athletic Department will host Meet the Cobras Day on Saturday, Aug. 27 from 12-3 p.m. at the Harris E. and Louise H. DeLoach Center. The free event will give the fans and Hartsville community the chance to meet and interact with the Coker coaches, players and Striker the Cobra. Fatal collision in Lamar claims lives of two men

An early morning vehicle collision around 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 10 claimed the life of two men. Wayne Feagan, 52, of Timmonsville and Creed Childress, 48, of Knoxville, TN were both pronounced dead at the scene by Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee when both vehicles collided with one another at the intersection of Highway 401 and Lynches River Road just outside of Lamar.
