Where is this in Darlington County?

web Where is this in Darlington County

The photo from last week was of the brass plaque of fallen soldiers lost from Darlington County. It hangs in the Hartsville American Legion Post 53. It is so heavy that it is braced on the other side of the wall with boards to support the weight.

Legend has it that it was rescued from the rubble after the former Darlington County courthouse was torn down, and was brought to the Hartsville American Legion.
The readers that guessed correctly were: not a soul!

Can you guess where in Darlington County this week’s photo was taken? Hopefully this one will be a bit easier!

Please send your guesses to: editor@newsandpress.net or call 843-393-3811. Good luck!
