Walking Trail groundbreaking held

WALKING TRAIL GROUNDBREAKING — Officials from Rosenwald Elementary and Middle School in Society Hill and the Darlington County School District were among those gathered Aug. 26 to hold a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate a new walking trail that will soon be built at the school. The asphalt walking trail, and new gardens at the school, are being funded through a $25,000 grant secured by the Darlington County Coordinating Council (DC3) through the S.C. Office of Rural Health. Gardens focused on providing healthy foods for students, age-appropriate books for students, and other benefits are included in the project.
