Trinity UMC holds 40th Annual Carol Lighting

The Darlington Kiwanis Club and the Darlington Ministerial Association will present a Carol Lighting Service at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, on the Public Square, in Darlington, following the Rescue Squad Christmas Parade. Rev. Will Altman, pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church, will provide the invocation. The Darlington Presbyterian bell choir, conducted by Dr. Teresa Irwin, will perform Christmas selections. Police Chief Kelvin Washington will deliver a special Christmas message followed by remarks from Darlington’s Mayor, Curtis Boyd, who will operate the switch to illuminate Darlington’s official Christmas tree.
